iOS App Development scope of work total: $6,100
Phase 1: Design for $2,100
The UX/UI designer will kick off the project by designing up to two high-fidelity, clickable mockups for $900. These mockups are based on the mobile app features requested by the client, which should be determined in the initial call or planning meeting.
Though it’s not listed in this scope, it’s always a good idea to include a kick-off call or client meeting in the scope of work so you don’t leave money on the table for a valuable element of your services.
The designer will wrap up the first phase by building a mobile app prototype from the wireframes framework for $1,200.
Phase 2: Back End for $2,000
Next, it’s time for the full-stack developer to start working on the back end of the mobile app. They’ll start by building a mobile application database in Supabase, an open-source alternative to Firebase. Build one database for $1,000.
The developer will also configure GraphQL to support mobile application API calls. Our scope of work template recommends charging $1,000 for one API.
Phase 3: Front End for $2,000
To close out the project, the full-stack developer will also work on the front end of the mobile app. Considering expanding the team or delegating some of the workload? This iOS app development scope of work template offers flexibility and makes it easy to bring on a back-end developer and a front-end developer instead of a full-stack developer.
The developer will complete the build-out of the iOS mobile application using SwiftUI. Our scope of work template suggests charging $2,000 for one application.
