Monthly Email Marketing Management
Audit and set up
Before you get started with monthly email marketing work, kick off the retainer project with an audit of the client’s existing email content, platform usage, and performance across platforms to identify challenges and opportunities. The audit is priced at $900.
Next, you’ll create processes that will set up the weekly campaign send and flow creation for success. Depending on the email campaign frequency that you and the client agree to, you’ll configure email marketing campaigns for $900. This includes list segmentation and tracking options. You’ll also implement email automation systems based on unique tag identifiers of audiences for $900.
Finally, you’ll define the goals and metrics for AB testing parameters on a single platform. Our scope of work template recommends charging $600 for the AB testing configuration.
Weekly meetings and email marketing work
Our email marketing retainer template suggests 14-15 hours of email marketing work per week. If you plan on doing more than that, charge accordingly! And make sure the amount of work and/or hours you are providing is clearly stated in the scope of work to prevent scope creep.
As part of the weekly work, you’ll hold creative strategy meetings one to two times per week for $1,575. These meetings are meant to discuss high-level strategy, upcoming content, performance reports, insights, and recommendations.
The email marketing retainer also includes monthly reporting. You’ll report on the AB testing results — which includes walking the client through the findings — for $600.
Your reporting should also include the project’s qualitative and quantitative results. Determine specific qualitative measurements with the client and gather them during each project phase. The project data report is also $600.
Finally, at the end of each month you’ll create a report on the monthly campaign performance for $1,500. Present reports on the previous month’s online campaign performance, including learnings and guidance for the next month.
