Social Content Support (3 months) scope of work total: $12,450

Phase 1: Planning and Campaign Setup for $4,800

The first phase is all about familiarizing the team with the project in order to plan and set up social campaigns for the next three months.

The social media manager will start by auditing the client’s existing social content, platform usage, and performance to identity challenges and opportunities. Audits are one of the most overlooked freelance services you can charge for, so our scope of work template recommends pricing one audit report at $1,500.

Next, the social media manager will conduct research to discover existing or potential audiences for the client for $1,500. The research may include an online survey of up to 20 questions, and up to five user interviews. If more interviews or surveys are necessary, adjust the price accordingly to avoid scope creep. This part of the phase also includes building the audience personas for $900.

To wrap up the planning phase, the social media manager will create a playbook that describes the tactics that will be used to accomplish social media goals and objectives. They will create one playbook that’s anywhere between 5-10 pages for $900.

Phase 2: Monthly Content Support for $2,550

Now it’s time for a graphic designer and copywriter to come on board for the monthly content support work. The team will work together via weekly check-ins to ensure all content produced is timely, relevant, and aligned with trending topics and the strategy that’s in place.

The social media manager is responsible for developing and analyzing the organic social media strategy each month. They’ll provide up to three directions for $600.

Following guidance from the social media manager, the copywriter will write 10 captions to be used across platforms for $1,500. Meanwhile, the graphic designer will design 10 social media assets, optimized for use across platforms, for $450.

Repeat this phase two more times to complete the three-month support.
